[ CHARACTER INFORMATION ]
Name: Jun
Age: 12; looks his age
Gender: Male
Canon: Pokemon
Timeline: Post-Platinum; after the Stark Mountain storyline and after the protagonist beats the Elite Four 20 times.

Character History:

For basic background on Jun and background on the storyline of his canon.

Character Personality:

Jun is incredibly determined when it comes to achieving his goals. Even if he wanted to do something as impossible as become the next Arceus, he will stop at nothing to obtain such a status. Without this determination, Jun might have never gone on a Pokemon adventure. He would've never convinced his friend to meet Professor Rowan and ask for their own Pokemon, nor would he have trained his Pokemon excessively even after he lost the chance to become Pokemon League Champion to his friend. It took eight battles for him to beat his friend, so as they may say, "Hard work pays off."

On top of being incredulously determined, it is hard to discourage Jun. His opponent could be extremely tough to defeat, and he'll still challenge them. He could be put in a nearly impossible situation and he won't give in to the pressure. There has only been one event that has discouraged Jun: He lost to Commander Jupiter of Team Galactic. This brought Jun's morale down quite a bit, but surprisingly, Jun benefited from this loss. He realized how serious battling was and how much danger the world was in if Team Galactic got their way. Jun matured from this event and began to take his time while battling, plotting out each and every move to ensure his victory.

Determination, rare discouragement, and maturing is all a part of achieving one's goals. But said goals still cannot be achieved unless one has to take risks. And this is right up Jun's alley. This can be a good or bad thing, as in the very beginning Jun suggested rushing through the wild grass without a Pokemon on hand just to see Professor Rowan. And after Rowan questioned him and his friend on this, Jun was ready to sacrifice what may have been his only chance to receive a Pokemon of his own for some time. But as shown, this risk paid off, as Jun's compassion for his friend allowed Rowan to look past the error he had made and let him choose a Pokemon.

If you like hearing people brag, then Jun's one of the best people to go to. There's rarely a time where Jun isn't bragging about how strong his Pokemon have gotten, or how easy a gym battle was. In fact, most objects of his bragging are Pokemon-related. How cool his Pokemon are, how handy they are in tough spots... He can go on and on about his Pokemon, so it'd be best to bring a set of headphones or walk away while he's not paying attention.

One of Jun's most well-known lines in the Pokemon games is "If you're late, I'm fining you ¥10 million!" Jun is always in a rush and is rather impatient. He literally bumps into his friend countless times, and he's always further along on his journey than said friend. And when Jun's ready to take off, he'll sometimes start counting from ten down to one, but will rush off anyway once he reaches nine. Like the Energizer Bunny, it is hard to slow Jun down. In battles, however, he'll take a little bit of time. But only a little.

In addition to his impatient demeanor, Jun tends to miss important details. From the very beginning he forgot that he and his friend needed Poke Balls in order to capture the legendary Pokemon of Lake Verity, and he later rushed out of Professor Rowan's lab without even receiving a Pokedex to help Rowan with his research. He's also got quite the short attention span. You can be talking about one thing with him and then suddenly he'll go off on an entirely irrelevant tangent or notice something in the background (like a Pokemon…or a new computer). He's gotten better at paying attention and not going off on another random topic so suddenly, though.

Character Abilities you would like to expand on further:
-Jun's an amateur at strategizing during battles. He can attack based on his opponent's weaknesses, but he's not very good at countering his own.

-He's good at training. He picks some of the best spots to train and the results from his training are often above average.

-Finally, Jun's somewhat knowledgeable about various aspects of battling. He knows what's weak or strong against what, what status effects are and what they do, how other attributes can affect one's potential, etc.

Character Weaknesses you would like to expand on further:

[ SOUL CAMPAIGN SECTION ]

What abilities will your character retain in Soul Campaign?
-Being an amateur at strategizing during battles.

-Being good at training.

-Being knowledgeable about various aspects of battling.

What weaknesses will your character lose or gain in Soul Campaign?
-One could count Jun losing his Pokemon as a weakness. The only battles he's ever participated in are Pokemon battles and so he'll have to learn to physically fight.

The wish Death the Kid made to the BREW in 2009 was to “rescue Death City and stop the waves of Madness from overtaking the world.” By whatever means necessary. Pretend you are the BREW. Why would you choose to bring this character to Death City?
I would bring Jun to Death City because of his experience, determination, and battle knowledge. The kid's helped take on an evil organization who wanted to take over the world and has partaken in countless battles and training sessions. He accomplished such BECAUSE of his determination, which has yet to completely wane. Finally, Jun can use his knowledge about battling when it's needed most, be it a Witch attack or the return of the Madness.

[ MEISTER ONLY SECTION ]

Why is your character a Meister and not a Weapon?
First off, Jun has experience training and commanding a whole team of powerful creatures. He strives to make them the strongest, yet still treats them as equals. Second, it's because Jun has experience in training others that he would function better if he were the wielder and not the attacker. Finally, his hyperactive disposition and impatience would likely create issues if he were a Weapon, and so for his own safety and the safety of those around him, he would be much better off as a Meister.

What is your character’s Meister Ability? Why?
-Soul Excitement: Due to his hyperactivity, determination, and excitableness during battle, this ability would greatly benefit Jun and his Partner.

-Soul Determination: Jun's taken many blows (though indirect) yet has still gotten back up pretty much every time. This ability would be this trait solidified.

-Soul Commune: Jun's got a lot of experience training, taming, and battling with animal-like creatures. And while said creatures lack supernatural abilities, a lot of them have qualities that can be used in battle (such as sharp fangs/claws/etc., brute force, bulk, what have you). Thus, Jun having this ability would almost be like him having his team back.

[ SOUL INFORMATION ]

Describe your character’s soul with six adjectives.
-Determined
-Reckless
-Hyperactive
-Impatient
-Inattentive
-Compassionate

What does your character’s soul look like? Be creative.
Jun's soul is yellow in color and has his (somewhat) spiky yellow hair. The eyes are somewhat squinted and the mouth is in the shape of a huge, unguarded smile.

[Not a second after the feed turns on--]

Hey! Hey! Anybody there? [Jun's face is not even an inch away from the screen. From what can be seen is an expression of impatience.] Can someone tell me what happened to my Pokemon? I just had 'em on me, and now they're gone!

[He pauses for literally a split second just to move the screen further from his face.] So anyways, when will we get to go home? I've got a lot of stuff I need to do, and I don't want to fall behind!

[Waitwaitwait what was he talking about earlier? ...Oh yeah] Right, my Pokemon! Can I get them back? I don't think I could last here without them! Please reply A.S.A.P.! [Now that he's said what needs to be said, he shuts the feed off.]

The first thing Jun noticed when he woke up was how dark it was. He couldn't have been asleep for that long, could he? He quickly shoved the thought aside. But if that were the case, then where was he?

"Hellooooooooo? Anybody here?" Jun called out. His voice echoed a bit, but other than that, nothing. He even waited a full two seconds after the echo died off before calling out again. "If somebody's there, then I'm fining you ¥10 million for not responding!" Again, there was an echo, but without a following response. Aw, geez, I'll just have Infernape light up the place, Jun thought to himself. He reached into his pocket...and pulled out nothing. Not only were his Poke Balls gone, but that also meant his Pokemon were gone, too.

"Hey, what gives? Where are my Pokemon?" His eyes now fully adjusted to the darkness, Jun began to examine at his surroundings to see if his Poke Balls were anyplace nearby. Not a second had passed when his gazed stopped at a rather peculiar sight: Arceus knows how many seals and chains and caution tape that seemed to hold something between two statues. Whatever was concealed within it must be mighty powerful. If I had my Pokemon, I bet I could release whatever was in there and battle it! That, however, wasn't going to happen in the near future.

Tired of standing around (even though it had only been about two minutes), Jun began to walk toward the doors behind the concealed mass. Once he got there, he began to push and pull at the doors, and after a few seconds gave up. Why the heck would anyone put doors in a place like this if they weren't meant to be opened?

"Wait. If these doors don't open..." A slight sense of dread crawled its way onto Jun's face. He was stuck here, in this dark place, without Pokemon, without a way out. What if he couldn't return to battling ever again? Aw, geez, what am I thinking? There's gotta be a way out! After all, I got in here, didn't I? Jun began to check his surroundings again, but to no avail. OK, maybe above me. He looked at the ceiling. Either it was too dark to see or there wasn't any sort of opening there either. Yeah, yeah, it's gotta be on the ground, then! Jun looked down so that his view was about a couple feet from his body, and began walking around. If he was lucky, maybe he'd fall into the exit! That'd be pretty nice.

After a minute or so passed, Jun was done looking around on the ground. As far as he could tell, there really was no exit. Could his fears be true? As a look of fear began to spread across his face again, a clicking sound was made. The fear instantly dissipated and Jun found himself looking up at a large screen. A red-haired man appeared, and began to speak...
